Privacy Policy

Not yet published. This document has not been finalised. Nothing on this page is a legal agreement, and no part of it should be relied on. TroveFi runs on public test networks and uses valueless test tokens.

A full privacy policy will be published before mainnet launch. What follows describes how the application behaves today, as a matter of fact. It is not a policy and creates no obligations.

TroveFi has no password or email account system. The app reads publicly available blockchain state for whichever wallet address you connect, and every transaction you approve is recorded on a public network by design.

The Points program is opt-in. If you join by signing a message with your wallet, TroveFi stores a profile keyed to that wallet address: your points history, streak, completed tasks, any referrer, and links to posts you submit for tasks. If you link an X account, its username is stored and shown next to your address on the public leaderboard.

The faucet applies a per-wallet and per-IP rate limit, which requires temporarily retaining a wallet address and a coarse client IP for the length of the cooldown window.

Third parties involved in serving the app, including your wallet provider, the RPC endpoints, and the hosting provider, receive data under their own policies, which TroveFi does not control.
